The Senate Economics Committee has published its report on the Corporations Amendment (Improving Accountability on Termination Payments) Bill 2009.

The Committee recommended that the Bill which lowers the threshold for shareholder approval for termination payments to amounts in excess of 12 months base salary paid to company directors and executives should be passed.
