The Personal Property Securities Act 2009 and the Personal Property Securities (Consequential Amendments) Act 2009 commenced on 15 December 2009 following receipt of Royal Assent on 14 December 2009. A consolidated Act is available here.

It is expected the Act will commence full practical operation in May 2011 following establishment of the Register.
