Austrac has published a preview of the questions to be answered by reporting entities in its redesigned Compliance Report 2018, covering business activities from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.

The report will be available through AUSTRAC Online from 2 January 2019.

Reporting entities must complete and submit the compliance report between 2 January and 31 March 2019.

New questions relate to intelligence deposit machines and mobile applications.

The questions also cover outsourcing AML/CTF compliance functions, reporting internally, independent reviews, risk assessment and keeping the AML/CTF program up to date.
