AUSTRAC has issued the AUSTRAC Regulatory Guide (the Guide) to provide non-binding advice to industry (primarily reporting entities and cash dealers) to help it understand and comply with the:
- Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act)
- Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Rules (AML/CTF Rules).
The Guide also
provides non-binding advice in relation to the:
- Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988 (FTR Act)
- Financial Transaction Reports Regulations 1990 (FTR Regulations)
