ASIC has published a report on its licensing and professional registration functions for Australian financial services licensees, credit licensees, auditors, service providers and financial services industry professionals.

The report outlines key issues, updates on new licensing application processes, upcoming reforms and other work ASIC has undertaken that affects licensees. It also provides information and data on licensing and registration applications from the 2024–25 financial year.

ASIC says it has met its target of deciding 70% of AFS and credit licence applications and variations within 150 days and 90% of cases within 240 days.
